Not a huge fan tbh. The lyrics feel a bit trite and the tone of the whole thing is a bit too sing-songy/weird for me. 5/10

Nice! I'm a fan of the energy on this one. 8/10

This is maybe the most beautiful song. I can't say for sure if it'll always be my favorite, but it's up there with "With or Without You" and Justin Vernon's cover of "I Can't Make You Love Me." I heard it once, didn't think much of it, but it kept coming back up in my head and now it's my go-to when I need to calm down.

That was very beautiful. :)

Man, almost a month later and I'm still addicted to Pink Lemonade, here's another track off of it. Happy Days was my favorite for like two weeks but then this one ended up becoming my favorite:

I like the initial instrumentals; it reminds me of Tom Petty. I'm not a fan of the metal parts however. 10 on the guitars; 0 on the metal. 5/10

Bringing this thread back because I wanted to! :monster:

I went ahead and listened to the above track anyway, even though he's banned now. I happen to like Sisters of Mercy, although I wouldn't say it's necessarily their best work as it takes a while to get to the "oh yeah this is the actual song" part of the song. Still pretty cool though. 7.5/10

One of my fave tracks on EG's sophomore album, which I was expecting to be disappointing but was absolutely not.

Not exactly a fan of the genre that "Oh Devil" by Electric Guest resides in, but it isn't bad.

I'll give it a 7/10. I'm sure other people into that type of music would rate it higher though...

Anyone else unable to see the video?

Welcome to Tool. Great band, have yet to release their new album and it's been more than ten years, I believe.

I'm pretty sure I embedded it correctly, but if not the link is here. If it's blocked based on country I can find you a link somewhere else.

And thanks for the introduction, I'm thrilled to hear them.

Afraid it's locked in Italy.

Glad you enjoyed Jambi. One of my favourite Tool songs. Other songs are...weird, but you'll definitely like most of their stuff.

Found an mp3 link, though you might have to click through some shady ads. It took a minute, but the player did work for me.

If that still doesn't work, and you have Spotify or some other way of tracking down music with its title and artist, the song is "You Missed My Heart" by Phoebe Bridgers.

Looking forward to hearing more!

Damn that was...sad, and maybe some other word I can't think of right now.
This is type of songs that got me thinking of Life os Strange, they are certainly similar to most songs in the game's soundtrack.

Let's keep it Tool-ish, shall we?

Ah Vicarious, one of the more morbid Tool songs. Definitely doesn't have an incredibly positive outlook on humans as a whole.
Weirdly, this just so happens to be my favourite Tool song.

That's exactly how I feel about it. Difficult to describe the emotion it evokes. I've still gotta play LiS.

Not as hype about this as the last one personally, but still some great work. 7.5/10

I can't decide if I think this remix is superior to the original or not.

It does feel like at times the original is better, but it's still a pretty good remix.

Okay so this song hasn't been released as a single yet, I believe, hence why the only versions you can find online are from concerts and may not have the best quality.

Bonus points if the vocalists starts sounding familiar and you can guess in what other band he sings.

Okay, wow I've got a lot of thoughts on this.

Firstly, I dig jazz and funk, and I really really dug the hell out the wind instrumentation on this track. That initial section before the vocals kick is gold. However I'm not too keen on the vocals. The lead's vocal style seems more befitting of alt rock than jazz and funk, so I could never completely get behind the vocal aspect of the song. Next, I wasn't a fan of the heavy metal guitar sections at all. I'm all for jazz fusion, but I personally don't think jazz and metal go together well. 10/10 on the jazz and funk instrumentation -1 for vocals and -1 for the metal riffs, so 8/10.

Okay so, first of all, BOWIE! Don't hear a ton of him on this thread, so that's nice.

If I'm being honest, though, not a greatest hit from him for me. It's pretty low-energy and seems to have been played kind of down-tempo, which makes the instrumentation feel more repetitive and go stale quicker than it otherwise would, and it doesn't really sound like Bowie was all that into recording that day either. Good vibe though, I of course do like the overall sound, and low-grade Bowie is still high-grade anything else, lol. I'll give it a 7/10, 7.5 if it's played in the right environment, I think.

New single from one of my favorite up-and-comer bands, Kitten. Love Chloe's vocals on this track.
